Children's Ministry Coordinator
Coordinate all aspects of ministry and weekly services for children, families and volunteers with a vision to partner with parents to make disciples of Jesus and reproduce new leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead volunteer recruitment, orientation, scheduling, training, and communications.
- Partner with ministry team to provide feedback, creativity, leadership, training and implement solutions.
- Coordinate and provide leadership training and weekend oversight for assigned ministry areas
- Responsible for Nursery, Preschool, Special Needs, Elementary, Production & Support Team ministry operations
- Maintain, update, and use systems in Children’s Ministry to reflect accurate family, children & volunteer data
- Work to build team of leaders and disciples operating in a variety of positions needed by ministry
- Partner with Victory Kids teams at Central and across campuses to ensure consistency in ministry
- Review curriculum lessons and activities for Nursery, Preschool, Special Needs, and Elementary.
- Volunteer Care: scheduling one on ones, send cards, keep track of voluntees prayer request so we can follow up, send flowers ect.
- Call, text and email weekend volunteers to check in each week. Follow up with no-call no-shows.
- Offer biblical guidance as needed.
- Assist with future Children's Ministry projects: Theming, Family Fun Nights, Satuday Night Live etc.
